Now before we go even one step further, I want you to think of one very important person, and that is you. It is essential to your health that you schedule self-care time each day, even if it is five minutes, although it should be a little more than that. But, if you start with five minutes, you can build on that.
You need some type of meditation each day. It could be traditional meditation, or sitting peacefully with a candle, five minutes in prayer, reading a poem, writing, yoga, taking a bath…whatever (healthy) thing it is that makes you feel calm and brings you peace. There are many different forms of meditation. You need to find yours, and you need to do it for a few minutes every day. If you don’t have something already, this can be a fun thing to explore.
